See, Gore, at least, made a documentary that may or may not have hard evidence backing it up (I haven't see it, so I can't say). Where's the Loose Change of global warming? The only rebuttals I've seen are similar to yours there: unproven, unsubstantiated, and made only to inflame.
Really, even when at least half of the the scientists in the USA and around the world say the contrary. Want to know why you never hear them? Read BIAS sometime. With an open mind, not a closed one, if you please. According to many anti-global warming scientific minds, the earth was warmer in 1900 and even in 1950, than it is today. Dramatic climate change is always happening. Up and down, again and again. God blessed us all with an Earth that adapts and although it changes all the time, it stays very much neutral. And if you don't believe me that the hard Left want to shut up global warming speech unless it comes from their mouths, that's your problem, not mine.
OMG it's a person who doesn't believe in global warming! And, oh, a christian, too! Okey dokey, k, you know the solar waves, UV? WEEeelll, when the sun first gives them off they have lotso power, right? so they go in through the ATMOSPHERE the first time. Then some goes out, some stays in! But with extra Co2, the atmostphere is THICKER, so the UV lights stay here, warming things up a bit and burning our skin and giving us skin cancer! I know it's just a theory, but most people believe it. Or are you a bush supporter as well as an american christian global warming non-believer?

oh, he's ABLE, alright. Presidency in the united states has almost became like a dictatorship, because didn't you know that the Gore/Bush election was fixed? Anyways, he CAN. He has the power, as president of the united states, to ban gay marriages. We (atleast I) don't want him to, but he will if HE wants to. Hey, that means gays will come to CANADA! Yay homosexuals! My uncle is homosexual, he's one of my favourite uncles (i have 7 uncles and aunts).

But if we stop focusing on foreign policy so much, we'll have to answer the tough questions, like why our schools suck so much. It's easier to shoot at people than pay for education, fod. Good Americans know that. Are you a good American? Or are you a terrorist? Only a terrorist would want us to do rational things... ...Sorry, I slipped into neocon mode there. It happens when I watch Fox too much.

This argument is a continuous one only because both sides are not LISTENING to each other, only hearing the other side and then letting it filter through. Quite obviously if there is one modern approach, it's compromising, not fighting. Besides, smaller social issues like this keep our attention off more important matters that most Americans are in complete agreement about: getting off foreign soil and stop spending so much freaking money on war.

because the people who voted against it either have a family member (son/daughter/brother) that is gay or les and if they were to get married it would ruin there career if they had voted against it

Precisely Bush can't ban anything; he can only approve the ban. Its a matter of the people lobbying for theur beliefs and effecting their votes in congress by voting for representatives that reflect the individuals feelinhg.

quote: Marraige is the union between a man and a woman. That's what it is.
I think you're confusing what something is with what it's defined as. Words have arbitrary meaning and their definitions can be fluid. Marriage currently means a union between a man and a woman, but that doesn't mean it will always be so. quote: Why do gay people need their love to be recognized by the state? There are certain rights people get when they are married, including the ability to visit partners in hospitals (hospitals will only allow family members to visit), include the partner in a will, and other stuff, like insurance benefits that only married couples can receive. I suppose the symbolism is important for some gays and lesbians (i.e. they want to say that they are actually married), but I think the biggest reason is the legal benefits gained from marriage.

This is ridiculous... Gay Marraige is somewhat of an oxymoron. Marraige is the union between a man and a woman. That's what it is. It isn't unequal rights because every man can marry any woman, and any woman can marry any man. People get married for themselves, it's a bond and a symbol that you love someone and want to be with them. Why do gay people need their love to be recognized by the state? I don't need a peice of paper to say that I care about my family... Gay people can get married just like straight people, just not to someone of the same sex... put a ring on, put on two dresses or two tuxs or whatever you want, make your own piece of paper...

For the president to be able to ban gay marriage he has to go through the house of representatives and the supreme court. And i don't think that he would get it passed because it might be against the constitution. Like the first amendment.

I can see why a lot of people say he can, there's the obvious, he's the PRESIDENT of the United States, and don't get me wrong this means power, but no I don't think he should be able to ban Gay Marraige. These are personal preferences of the people. We live in a country founded on a certain level of freedoms promised by our forfathers, and those these weren't specifically stated, I believe that the right to marry whom ever you wish is one of them.
