Alright... This is my first post here.. But this is the topic that caught my eye first.

I am a sophmore here in Norman Oklahoma. At my highschool. There are tons of people like that. There are some people at my school that treat them like crap. When there are other people who don't care what they are and treat them just like any other person.

God made us. God made us to do a lot of stuff... The reason God made women and men was to hopefully have the population grow in the world. Which it did. Think about it. God controls everything that goes on. He intended for their to be violence, wars and everything. He even intended for there to be this.

If anyone should go to prision it should be you. Because I think you are just being totally immature about this whole thing.

I haven't read through all of the replies to this, but I know I prolly have repeated some stuff. But this topice just really PISSED me off

quizbowlgirl, if you had taken the time to read my post all the way through, you would see that I said we should treat homosexuals as well as we would treat anyone.

ur an ***.....i am a christian too, and in fact, my mom is a minister. she is really good friends with another MINISTER who is gay. look at it this way *******, ok, lying is wrong, right? gay people dont chose to be gay, conterary to what you may think, if you dont believe me, try to be gay for 3 hours each day, you'll quickly realize its NOT a choice, its who u are. ok, what if there is a gay guy, he loves god more then anything, and people portray him as to hating god and letting god down because he is being who GOD MADE HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!! So, all you ******* conservative-gays-are-hellbound ppl, are you asking gays to LIE to make you happy.....oh wait, i almost forgot, lying is wrong too.....its not a gay's fault god made them gay....like i said, try to be gay for 3 hrs a day, why cant u jus accept them, cuz the way u *******s are now, gay ppl are screwed, and god didnt want that. so in the end, u end up being the one being a ****er. u are the one discriminating something god made happen.

actually most people who are gay or lesbian know from experience that it hurts to be judged, so they dont do it. same goes for people with disabilities, people of color, and anyone else who has ever been discriminated. I have tourrette syndrome, and i have been discriminated against because of it. But it just taught me how much pain is caused by words. now im much more careful with the things that come out of my mouth. I treat others the way i want to be treated. I guess you could say that its a positive result of being teased alot.

For those of you who say that being homosexual could be from a "chemical imbalance"- how does anyone know that its not heterosexuals who have a chemical imbalence, we just think its normal b/c its what we're used 2? and really its homosexuals who have a "normal chemical balance"?

Im a christian, and according to my relegion homosexuals will go to hell. Also, according to my relegion, God gave us the choice to choose what we beleive in. Therefore, regardless of relegion, we should respect others for their decisions on their choice of a mate. Gay people probally think were weird, strange, and disgusting, but in trith were just diffferent, and difference is something we should respect/

not neccessairily. you all are forgetting transgender people yet again. it is possible that you could have a guy's brain and be born a girl or vice versa. its not an imbalance per se, its just your brain is a bit different, thats all. make sense? its very frustrating, mind you, to live as a transexual.

You're right and wrong. Homosexuality isn't (from myunderstanding, mind you) a choice. You're right in saying you love who you love, etc., but these feelings toward the same sex are caused by a sort of chemical brain imabalance type of thing. That's my understanding, any way. It isn't a choice, so you can't tell homosexuals they made the wrong choice.

God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve! TIme to feel guilty if you're gay! Or if your name isn't Adam or Eve! Or if you aren't of African descent! (The first humans were black, after all.)

We'll leave guys named Steve in the "questionable" category.

you know, how would you like it if somebody told you that you should be put into prison because you are a girl? you affended me big time. I'm no homosexual but i was raised to believe that everyone is equal. you're the one that should be but into prison because of your stupidity. they have the same rights as you. hun, learn to spell first, please, before you even start to decide what you believe in and what you dont. Let's learn the basics first, and then we can debate like adults, okay?
