The Bible doesn't explicitly say that they were the only humans...

Well, if you look at it from the perspective that Adam and Eve would have had the intire human gene pool, incest would biologically be alright because even though they were sister and brother they could have totally different genes.

Don't know if that makes sense, but thats how my Sunday School teacher explained it back in the day.

You know whats weird? In the bible Adam and Eve had to kids correct? well at one point one of their sons took a wife. thats all it says "and so and so took a wife" where did she come from??? Is it just Eve?? hmm do i sense a little incest? or just some more biblical error...

i agree with you...most people are accepting...see me, as a christian, we are taught against it, but it's not an issue that i'm all crazy about. I, yes think it's wrong, but i have nothing against gays, they are human beings just like us...we are all equal....there is no difference...i accept them, like i think all people should, but no one can force anyone to change...and that's my opinion...no everyone elses in the world.....

Why can't you just say " My religion says that homosexuality is wrong, so it is not for me." And leave it at that. Why do you have to convince gay people that they are sinning? I'm not saying that it's strictly from the scripture that the hate breeds; words have no power without intention behind them. When these people take the words, who's origional intention was to help people find a light in a time of great darkness, and twist it to their own wretched deeds, that is what's wrong with it. I said that it comes from the scripture because it does; it's written right down. However, the hate behind the way they are used is not how the words were written, nor how they should be interpreted.

Most of the hate comes from the scripture. They are right in the fact that they say that (in the KJV of the bible) it says "Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind; it is an abomination." However, the bible is like the telephone game, always skewed when it returns. That is why I usually refuse to use the scriptures in my arguements, because if you and I were to argue it, we could be up all night discussing semantics.
