Um, yes, it was probably a bad idea. However, there are a lot of variables that need to be taken into account.
...that is to say, it depends on the situation. Did she strike first? Was it justifiable? Was there a non-violent solution?

Does he make your mom happy? Is your mom happy around him? I felt the same thing when my mom got a bf, I feel different know, shes feels much better and I just want her to be happy. I may not like him, but hey why have her feel like **** because I want to be happy.
