Personally, I've always wondered why guys are the way they are. I love them to death but i mean come on. I just don't get them sometimes.

Plenty of girls are shy around guys, too. It's just that we guys somehow got somehow got stuck with the task of asking the girls out, so it's a lot more noticeable when we are. If you wish the guys in your life were less shy, try being more direct and approaching them more often. Get to know them. It's hard to remain shy around people you know well.
And then, as the books were told, Fina replied: "A can of worms, my dear friend? What has this to do with reason?"
