My dad lost his job around a year ago. He started his own buissiness after that. But obviously it didn't go so well. Our family is in a lot of financial trouble. YET YET YET, my parents keep having the need to go & TRAVEL. Then my dad complains about no money. \: So now, my dad got offered a job all the way in Lebenon as a big executive, it has great money and such. And we're lucky, we're moving right where we have family, so we're not alone. But I'm leaving the family I have here, the friends, everything I've grown up around. My house is the one where all the kids come. My house is the one all the kids like. The next 2 years here was going to be GREAT. My cousins are getting married, their going to move to our town, it was going to be greaat. But if we go to Lebenon, you all know what it's like. Not only are we far away from all our family, but it's so SCARY there, out of no where there are wars. \: The final decision hasn't been made yet. I'm a no. My dad's going by a popular vote in the family. If my mom says no, which my cousin is sure she will, we're staying. But if we stay financial troubles continue a bit, we're not poor. We might not get to be poor unless my dad doesn't go without a job. I'm sure he can find a great job here too, but I feel like I've been lied to for a year that my dad lost his job. He said the buissness was going great, & idn. I'm just so looost. It's a lot more then just moving, kids move every day away from their friend's and family, we all move someday, it's not that, it's just the situation. I was never aware of how bad it was. \: I need advice pronto. We might stop paying the internet bill soon.

Ok, I also have a best friend, he's amazing, he made me laugh when I was just about at rock bottom. Now I feel like I've lost him, something happened to him, one day he said he was in a bad mood, and now he's super cheery, but noone knows what's up with him! We used to tell each other EVERYTHING. He knows things about me that no one else does, I mean, I hate that he just stopped talking to me! & Believe me I tried solving it, but it got us no where. "You never talk to me anymore." "I know, so I'm talking now. OHWAIT. I g2g. BYE!" & the next couple of days, noooothin. I feel more depressed about HIM than I do about anything else. I move but I still have my family. But him, I feel like I lost him. \:

I'm sorry to read about your situation. It's always hard when the mom or dad loses a job..or is looking for one and it's far away.

But as far as your friendship with that guy goes...if he is one of your best friends then he should still talk to you. And don't start conversations out with pointing out the fact that he doesn't talk to you anymore. Make small talk. Try to...befriend him all over again. As if you never knew him. Does that sound like something to try? It might work, it might not.
