Hey Everyone,
I just found out last night that aa girl from my old school had killed herself on Wednesday. I have had friends who were suicidal but never went through it. This is the first time I lost someone I knew. I didn't know her like super well but I knew her decently well.
Her name was Grace and she was 15 years old. She was so beautiful and smart. She was the type of girl that everyone knew that she would go so far in life. That she would be something huge in life. But, that won't happen now.
I'm hoping for whoever reads this to think about her and anyone who took their life. To remember those good moments. Becau
se to everyone else Grace is now just another statistic of teen suicide. She is not a statistic, she is a girl that had so much for her and for some reason took her life. Her and anyone else who took their life ARE NOT A STATISTIC! There are more then that.
Here's a poem I wrote for Grace.
It's Called:
Our Star From Up High
I had watched you from a far, and knew you were a star. You were a star from above, That was so dearly loved.
You were so beautiful and nice, If only we had known that one day you would turn our hearts into ice. There was so explimation why, You had unexpectadly left without saying goodbye.
I know that the biggest and most beautiful start in the sky is you. and you are watching over each person you knew. So now, each time we look up at the night sky, We know that you are there watching us from up high.
So, that's for Grace. Thanks.
-Shana

My prayers are with you, her friends, and her family as you go through this difficult time.
I believe that everyone should dream.

I am deeply sorry for your loss and I'm sorry that Grace felt so bad that she had to take her own life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and her family.
