Why did you break up with your previous girlfriend? That problem might come back to haunt both of you if you hook back up again.

I'd suggest going for the new girl. Since she's already your best friend, you'll have a much easier time romantically because you both know each other so well. The only problem is that if you break up, you could potentially lose your friendship as well. But if you play your cards right, it should go fine. Every girl I've dated so far (all two of them) was a good friend before hand, and I even stayed friends with my last girlfriend.

But just do what you think is best. It's hard, but no one said love was easy, eh?

ok, now im in a predicament. my ex now wants to get back with me, & while i still care about her ive already started falling for someone else. i know that the solution seems easy enough for some people, but it isnt really, because the girl i now want is one of my best friends. man, youd think that a 19 year old dude could take care of his own damn love life.

Ah see, 4th girlfriend, you'll bounce back just fine and will find another girlfriend that will love you, care for you and see how great of a person you are. ok, i might be repeating some other ppl's opinions, but i didnt have the time to go thru what other ppl had to say.

I believe the biggest thing that you might be facing is lack of confidence. Why do bad boys get all the luck and get the girls? not only because they are bad and girls like to change a guy (which I totally think as bullshit...you can never change a person, let alone a guy...they need to change bc THEY want to). Bad boys have alot of self confidence (or at least show themselves to have it). I know for myself, as a girl, the times when I am shy - I am barely noticed. when I show myself as confident, I am getting dates from all sides. maybe it is just luck?

Anyways, try to show your confidence...plus don't seem too desperate (you might not be for all I know). As far as being fat...I dont know how fat you can be - but that shudnt be a major issue as much as it is for girls (apparently on a MSN.ca website - 60% of men like skinny girls).

Anyways, good luck with everything! Be happy to be single as much as you can! Suprisingly good things do happen when u least realize it.

guess what?! i have a girlfriend dudes! & for the record, i have had girlfriends in the past. i started this thread because i was lonely & wanted some advice. i was stating the way i felt back when i was 16-a very pathetic sounding time for me-to see if i had "boyfriend potential". luckily for me, my little experiment proved that i do have "boyfriend potential" based upon the advice i recieved. i thank everyone for responding to this thread, & for making me feel better. but now, i am even happier on account of my real life girlfriend! ahh, life is good. thanks again for everything everybody!
