I feel your pain, man. I don't really know what to tell you, though. My current girlfriend was a rather good friend of mine before we became serious. I don't understand why all your female friends wouldn't want to go out with you. If they like you as a friend, why wouldn't they want to get to know you even better? It baffles me.

So, unfortunately, I have no good advice for you, other than the old standby to keep on trying!

And if you think your extra weight is holding you back, why don't you try to slim down? I know it's hard, but if you think it will significantly improve your social life, it may be worth the effort.

But often times appearances don't play too much of a role in the long-run of relationships...If you appear confident, girls may go for you if they think you'll give them a fun time.

Matt you sound like a pretty nice guy and you sound pretty cute to. Maybe you cant get a girlfriend because your too much of a great friend and sometimes girls don't wanna jepordize that. Next time you make a friend with a girl who you want to be your girlfriend dont get too 'brotherly' to her show her that you don't want to be just friends.
