This ***** in my school was talking about one of my best friends to a group of girls. She said stuff like 'Eww, _______ (can't tell you her name) She's so ugly!' Not only is my friend pretty, she's also really nice. and then the little ***** went over to this boy and said my friend liked him.

After school me and my group of friends confronted her and ended up following her and screaming curses and crap.

But the girl has lied to teachers and people before and she might say me and my friends tried to beat her up.

This has happened WAY too many times before to my group and me.

Well, I would have handled it differently.

I'd avoid confrentation. Usually, a reaction is what they want. So do something like this:

Them: You're ugly.
You: So?
Them: Well, you're fat too!
You: and your point is?
Them: No one likes you!
You: And I care why?
Them: You have no friends!
You: Oh well.
Them:..... damn, I've ran out of insults.
(walks away.)

If someone despises you or your friends without good reason, who cares what they think? It may get you a little angry, but thats no reason for you to stoop to their level. Standing for what is right is great, but "screaming curses and crap" isnt going to bring a solution to the problem.

If anything, itll make it worse. Deal with the situation in as mature a manner as possible.

When people do stuff like that you should just totally ignore it or laugh. They're just looking for attention when they do that. Plus if you don't get nasty with them you won't get in trouble with teachers or whoever and the other person will look worse in comparison. I know that's not very nice but....who cares!

Seriously though, girls stare at me in the hallways at school all the time and laugh at me when I pass them and say mean things. But I really don't give a damn. You're being just as petty as the girl who's talking trash about your friend. I know that it doesn't seem like this now but she is not worth your time nor the time of your friend. Just ignore her and move on with your life. She is getting you right were she wants you. Just walk away.
