I want to start a program called Love Yourself. It's going to be mostly for girls but guys will eventually become a part of it too. The mission of this program is to help others. Do things like give needed advice/assistance, if someone needs a way out of a situation - provide them with the resources, etc. But I need some input first before I start this. My question to you, the reader, is this: When you're wanting advice or ned a way out or just someone to talk to, would you want to use a service like this? Also, in your opinion, what would be the things that would make you want to be apart of something like this?
I have not yet reached my goal, and I am not perfect. But Christ has taken hold of me. So I keep on running and struggling to take hold of the prize. My friends, I don't feel that I have already arrived. But I forget what is behind, and I struggle for wha

I think that would be a great service b/c as someone has alreadys pointed out, sometimes we just want to talk to somebody. Maybey you can create a website where if a teen just wants somebody to talk to or need advice they can actually talk another teen. You can have volunteer teens logged on as advisors and they can be connected in a chat session with the person in need. I would think that would be great i would volunteer for that.

About time someone actually cared about other people. I think that teens usually like to talk to somebody they don't know because they won't have to face them. Teen hotlines are popular. What teens need to also do is feel important and useful. Helping someone else out does that, so maybe your program could be a supervised web of advice. Obviously we don't want people encouraging others to cut since it's called Love Yourself!
