Thankyou. I found it. I don't know how I was being so dumb and completely missing it.

Hey ikki, could you point me in the idrection of that newbie guide? I was talking to someone about newbies and would like to see jen's guide. I searched for "newbie guide" and even "newbie" and couldn't find it.

i wanted to make a thread on it because I had questions on it, but I dont want to be one of the people who I get mad at for making threads on topics that have been covered.

and try not to give one word answers when you go onto those issues

Nobody mentioned this cause we all assumed you knew: DO NOT start a thread on abortion/homosexuality/suicide. There are MANY threads about those. Just join one of those conversations...

I just saw that thread... I REALLY hope they realized that this ISN'T a chatroom...

Also advice: Don't start attempting to argue people over newbie comments... (i.e. Why are all these newbies so IMMATURE?) You'll lose.

Don't treat this site like people in the HEYHEYHEY thread. Trust me. Nothing good will come of it.

I have considered making a harsh (as in, very honest) newbie guide.

I thought of that, too, but Jen beat both of us to it...

Do a search if inclined, and you'll find it.

Most of the time your not liked, or even noticed until you've proven you're intelligent. It generally flushes all the non serious newbies from the site. So don't be depressed if people skip over your posts.

Also try to back your statements up after you say something. Sounding stupid doesn't make one well liked.

Hello.

My advice: Don't be annoying, don't type annoying, use the best grammar you know how to use, and have the ability to take sarcasm. Have fun.

What if what you think is great, really is great, but it's not as great as something greater?
