So my main problem in my life is that no one seems to understand me. I have no idea who my best friends are anymore and my loneliness bothers me because I don't know which boys would tolerate/understand my complicated mind. My life has been changing so much in the past few years and I have no idea where i'm heading. I hope i'm making at least some kind of sense. If any of you feel similar or have any helpful/intelligent thoughts i would love to hear feedback. Thanks kids.

i COMPLETELY understand. it's never fun. but, i think the best advice you could get, would be to just meet new people, don't be shy, and find some way of self-expression. it helps a lot if you can express yourself. when i felt like you do now, i started writing and drawing, it made me feel SO much better.

so, good luck, and let me know sumthin. laterz...

i SO know how you feel.
but im sorry. i can't help you.
meet new people, go around, have fun,
introduce yourself to people you don't know
(at school) and soon, someone who remembers
you (from wen you walked up to them) will say
hi again, and want to become your friend. no
matter what age. i have done it at my school,
and its awsome! i know almost half my whole school,
but just walking up to random people, and saying hi,
commenting their clothes or commenting their hair, or
start a random conversation. many people have came
up to me saying 'oh, hey, ur that gurl, that said 'blah, blah',
wutz ur name?' and yeah, try it.

best wishes to you.

they always say "lifes goona get worst before it gets better" If you can get past the worst good will come.

I hate when things change around me and I feel lost trying to find my way back, but you gota start a new path and follow it. And there will be hards roads to come over.. But all you gotta say is "I know I Can Get Past This"

Read my post in the depression thread.

And yes, Faerienite is right, there will be many changes in your life. We must learn to accept them and make good use of them.

Change is going to be happening for the rest of your life, especially now during your teen years. I think the best thing to do would be to ACCEPT that you are feeling this way because of all the new things happening to you.

To feel a sense of belonging, participate in a club, sport team, or group activity outside of school.

And just remember that most, if not all, people our age are going through similar feelings. Maybe you need some time to sort out things in your own mind, and may benefit from a little alone time.

Try out new things to test your interest and abilties in new hobbies, or help others in your community. The feeling of compassion and being of help to another always helps to combat loneliness.
