my sisters 10 months younger that me, and we're in constant competition.
she, last year, worked in the local library, had so few friends that i introduced her to mine, and now i feel shes taking over my life! shes like a more outgoing, popular, pretty version of me--- she gets all the guys, whilst i get none ( which she thakes the piss out of ), she spends more time with my friend than i do, and makes me out to be boring. now everyone seems to think o me as the dull one...i am hapy as myself but she is making everyone else look down on me , and its kind of depressing comparing my sad social life ( im 15) and hers ( she 14). what shall i do/. /?
wanna be seen as me for once, not her sister, her boring sister at that...
no way i can talk to her as shell just call me pathetic

well obviously those people aren't truly your friends if ur sister has "taken" them from you. Just find the friends that truly like you and ignore that your sister seems more popular and liked. I feel like my sister is prettier and more popular than me all the time. and yes it bugs me but she's my sister so i still love her and except that maybe she's just naturally born to take the spotlight. Just don't worry about it too much. I know it probably upsets you that your sister would do this but I'm sure she doesn't even know she's doing it. and i know you said that you can't talk to her but maybe you should let her know that your a little upset about this.

i'm sorry about your situation, but you also have to think..
do you want friends that only like you because you sounded cool from your sister?

your friends should be YOUR friends, and they should like you because of who you are. i know its difficult to seeminly "loose" friends because of your sister, but you want the type of friends that you can talk about THIS stuff with. just stick it out and be yourself, thats the best way to find definate friends.
