Yeah i got an idea: TELL HER F'IN PARENTS. It's their fault anyway. O, and if she asks you to do it, beat the snot out of her. I find that turns people around pretty quick.

GOD i'm good at the counsel stuff.

By mental dependance are you fellows referring to the chemical dependance?

In the same way that people can be addicted to attention from others, people can be addicted to cocaine and other drugs. This is because of connections in the brain and chemicals released in the brain triggered by elements put into the body and situations (ex. social situations like receiving a generous compliment, etc.).

yeah mental dependance while diffrent in effect still basiclly enslaves you to your vice whatever it may be

The argument that weed is not physically addictive doesn't really say much considering cocaine, crack cocaine, and methamphetimnine are also condisered non physically addictive.

weed is not physically addictive... it just rocks... thats all. haha. it can definitely seem addictive due to the fact that those who do finally give it a chance usually like it so much that they continue to use it. it is fairly pushy to call someone a baby for not doing drugs with you though.

There is no scientific evidence of marijuana being in any way, physically addictive. However, it is in some cases habit forming. If they dont want to stop, DONT BOTHER THEM. They like it? LEAVE THEM ALONE. Unless this person is going to get themselves into trouble, dont "help" them. If they need serious help, the best thing that you can do is talk with them. Separate them from the chronic for a while, theyll be all right.

Hey...I think there should be way more talk about sex education and it shouldn't be so taboo to talk about it. I like the way http://www.sexetc.org talks about sex education and they have great stories about real sensorship and stuff.

yeah addictions are so diffrent some may be stronger than others but pot is still a very strong addiction

Addictions can be quite different from person to person, but gerneralizing pot as having a very strong addiction is ridiculous.

I think my friend is addicted.

---this is the WRONG place to ask for help.

Most of the people here in youthnoise is pretty much addicted to drugs (bauhaus), cursing, drugs, abortion, sex...you name it.

They banned me because I was just too good. *jam gushes*

They don't want to hear my rant about why premarital sex isn't ok, why drugs are bad for the health and etc.

But.....I guess that's the life here in YN.

You only get heard if you are famous, if you curse, or if you can come up with sentences that has a lot of cursing in it.

You can be addicted to both though. So you could be a heroin/pot addict. My great, great uncle died from being a morphine/heroin addict. (Actually, first he was a morphine addict from WWI wounds, then to replace the morphine addiction, he started buying heroin, and was killed by a drug lord. Cute, I know.) So you can be more

Just because nobody understands you, that doesn't mean you're artistic.
