Just as Bushsupporter mentioned, you're not acting stupid but consult someone for help. Your actions are just a way of coping with family problems considering that conflict within the family can be the hardest to deal with. It sounds very serious and it would help if you told someone who could help you out and someone you feel comfortable with.

if u dont want to talk to someone u no, u can always talk to me. call me day or night.Im suicidal too, and I will listen to anythin u have to say, at all. something that has always helped me was doing art. any sort of art. poetry, painting, drawing, singing, dancing, playing an instrument, whatever. its good to just express yourself in any way possible. You are not just being overdramatic or stupid. Trust me, I know how difficult life can be when there's stuff going on with the fam. I would recommend talking to your parents, or an older sibling if you have one. If you feel uncomfortable doing this, there should be someone at your school you can talk to. From what it sounds like, it sounds like you are feeling like your life, especially your family life, is out of your control. I really do think that talking to someone in your family, making sure that you don't keep stuff in, would help you out. Please let me know if you need to talk, I've had family problems for the past 7 years now...

No you are not being stupid, but you do need help. Your friends are right. Don't talk to them about it, talk to your parents and a therapist about it. Those are not natural feelings or actions despite what some will say or waht may look commonplace on here. You need help, and that is OK sometimes we all do but you need to take care of it.
