Maybe I'm not the idea person to respond to this, but...a hell it's 2 am and I'm bored. As always, I'm not mocking you or anything. Just my honest opinion.

Maybie I need a good talking to concerning what I believe about the afterlife and Spirit.
Well you know what I think there. The problem I see with your faith, or whatever word best describes it, is that it's based on stuff that you question whether is real or not. Question what your religion states and ask yourself whether or not you really think that's the way it is. I always reccomend Deism, but for that philosophy to really help you, you have to be able to draw your sense of magick, or miracle, whichever you prefer, from the natural world itself. No faires, no angels, saints, or demons. Just the world. It's a great machine and I think there's some beauty in the ordered chaos of it. Think about that, everything from galaxies on down is just this huge, grand dance of particles and engergies and whatnot. But this is something that I can't really describe well over the internet, so I'll leave you with this. You should always question your faith, lest you outgrow it.
quote:
Some social-psychology book or perhaps a new clothes colour?
Clothes color, not really. Outlook on life? Possibly. Unfourtunately that can't be found in a book. What I will say is this, if you read, make it varied. I suggest Harlan Ellison, you might like him. He's got an anthology called Dangerous Visions. It's not social psychology by any means, but most of the stories in there have a message. If you get them, there's a lot of interesting observations on humanity in there. Both love, fear, and all the stuff in between.
quote:
Or perhaps you should tell me how wrong I am concerning gender.
I'll shy away from this, but from what you told me before, this might stem back to the issue of faith.
You are not a cosmic mistake. You are what you are, nothing more, nothing less.
quote:
I just realized I talk a lot on the internet. I need a life.
Hey, look we have something in common!
quote:
Why am I asking you to tell me what's wrong with me?
It's called introspection. You obviously do a lot of it. I do as well. Seeking someone to talk to ain't a bad thing. All in all wavemaster, you're not half bad. You've got a brain and a soul and that's more than most people can say.
