Have you ever been on an anti-depressant before? I've been on generic prozac (fluoxetine) for the past few years, and I finally finished weaning myself off of it about a month ago. I've been getting hit pretty hard hard with both emotional and physical side-effects for the past week or so though, and I'd really appreciate any advice or help that any one would be willing to give...

My moods have been going from short bursts of almost euphoric-like energy, to depressive slumps where I feel like crying all day and snapping at people, to just total emotional numbness, and on the physical side i've been having memory problems, feeling tired almost all the time, and even my hands have been falling asleep alot, which i was surprised to find can also be caused by discontinuing and SSRI.

I think, from my expirience, that this shall pass.... keep being strong. Pills tend to fuck you up more when you get off them for a while.
