I've been dating my boyfriend for about a year and nine months now, and we've been having sex since September. My mother doesn't know... and would probably not be overly thrilled if she found out. She loves my boyfriend, but is quite religous and would think we are too young.
We always use a condom, but I'm not on birth control. I've tried using the, "my period is reallllllly bad and I need it for cramps..." excuse, but she always finds another type of painkiller, instead. How else can I convince her to put me on the pill without telling her that I'm sexually active?

If you are having sex with your boyfriend, you both need to have enough money to buy protection. Either you and your boyfriend need to cough up the cash for protection, or you will have to ask your parents. And like PS said, the pill isn't always effective. If it was, I wouldn't be here. ^__~ Try to use both, and do some research online about other birth control meds and methods. Good luck and be careful!

Pills aren't always effective.
Democrats are way sexier. Have you ever heard of a nice piece of elephant?

It goes something like this: "Mom, I'm 17 years old, and I love my boyfriend and I think I'm ready to have sex with him, and I want to be protected, I dont want a child right now, and I was hoping that you could support me, and take my to the clinic to get put on the pill."
