What if your bestfriend told you something so secret that she said she would rather kill herself than let it be known to anyone other than herself and you? And what if things took a strange twist and she was murdered because you kept quiet and didn't tell anybody? I'm not going to go into detail but this happened to me and my best friend did die because of a secret I had kept for over seven years. You know what the main idea is so get posting.

Listen, I am sorry about your friend. But if the secret was life threatining, I would tell, even if I had sworn on my life not to. I would rather be dead than any of my friends beccause of a stupid secret. Sorry bout your friend.

You casn't make yourself feel bad about it. How were you supposed to know that would happen. You were just being a good friend. It's over and she's probally in a better place.

I know you will always wonder what if, But you can't beat your self up about it. Your friend is probably in a better place. Maybe she did want you to tell or maybe she just needed to tell someone. Just remember its not your fault nomatter what your think or feel.

I wish we were all in Heaven so all the pain and suffering would go away.

Maybe she trusted YOU enough to maybe TELL for HER. Sometimes secrets aren't worthing keeping if they are ones like the one you are talking about. Next time you're in that position MAYBE YOU SHOULD TELL SOMEONE.

The way I see it is, if it seemed like something she shouldn't be keeping a secret than it's probably something YOU shouldn't keep a secret. I'd rather tell someone and have her mad at me than to keep it a secret and have her end up dead.

Though it kinda seems that either way your friend was gonna end up dead unless she seeked help for it all.

its not alwayz about keeping your promises, its about following your heart...and if your heart is telling you that you need to protect your friend or that u should have protected your friend by telling someone her little secret then that should have been your first instinct! wen someone is telling you a secret that they would rather kill themselves over then, they are seeking out for help...they kant tell someone so they need you to! i know that if i told someone, i would be hinting that i needed help!
