well, ok, some people wear makeup and tight clothing...so? The egyptians wore heavy amounts of makeup, and so do some goth-punks that I know. And would you rather they pray in a loincloth or something? Bella is right, you really need to mind your own business on the matter. And what exactly is god's will for christian guys? I haven't spoken with him lately.

Nashira, it seems that you are deeply religious, but i mean, come ON! You shouldn't be worried and praying about other's appearences, that's just stereotypical and lame.

quote: No, they are not un-Christian. Its their culture.. Im talking about these days people wear less clothing not because its their culture but because its what the media are portraying now... like those fashion stuff and people are just doing that, wearing indecent clothes to Church... Never mind the Scottish people! its their culture anyway, but those people being talked about in this post is not about their culture but because they are joining the bandwagon of ideas that people are wearing less clothing or indecent clothing in church which i think is not right.
But, say, in Puerto Rico we dressed in a way that was considered skimpy because of the heat. Does that make us ****ty (well you think i'm a **** so yes)?

Maybe they're not comfortable in their physical sex. Gender identity is outside the body, not within it. I used to be christian, and I dressed as a guy. In fact, I was a guy, and they told me I was wrong for thinking my physical sex and mental gender didn't match up. I've since left that church and pursued other means and now have plans to get a full sex-change operation. It may not be normal for them to do it, nor may it be "natural," but if they truly do feel like they're girls, it's definantly not a choice. If they're doing it just because then yeah, a little weird, but hey, I've known gay Christians and transsexual (post sexh-change) Christians. It shouldn't not be "right."

*Casts my head down melodramatically* I try to be, Ikki, but I'm still a guy. It's a curse you will never understand.

And minimal clothing has become America's culture. We're influenced by the media to wear what we wear, but the real issue is the media dictating culture. I'm very in favor of girls remaining scantily clad, myself. I don't feel so strongly about guys doing the same thing, but I'm not specifically opposed to guys doing the same thing.

Who decides what are girls clothes and what are boys clothes?? I see girls wearing guys clothes all the time(I do it sometimes). Are they cross-dressers? Bushism of the day: "The great thing about America is everybody should vote." —George W. Bush, Austin, Texas, Dec. 8, 2000

I agree with Celtic, and I'm not pagan. Or Celtic (the person).
When the president talks to god are the conversations brief or long? Does he ask to rape our women's rights and send more farm kids off to die? Does God suggest an oil hike when the president talks to god?

quote: Read the Bible, yogore.
God does oppose homosexuality. It says it in there plain in simple. (Leviticus 18:22) It's a sin, and of course everyone sins, but sin is obviously against God's will.
God also says in Leviticus not to eat pigs because they do not chew cud. You can't cut your sideburns either. I've read the bible. I've even quoted the bible I some of my other posts; I have read it. And everyone sins. And all sins are said to be equal in God's eyes. Plus, god didn't write the Bible himself, he went through middle men. Ever played the game Telephone? the message doesn't always come out the same. People should be able to wear whatever clothes they want to wear without you judging them. I'm sure you wouldn't be making a topic like this if you saw girls wearing baggy "boy" pants and t-shirts. Do clothes really matter? My church has a huge sign outside saying "Come as you are". A christian or non-christian should be able to go to church without you or anyone else judging what they wear. It's not your place. Do you honestly think God looks down on the boys for the clothes they wear, when it's good they are going to church in the first place? It's ridiculous.
What if what you think is great, really is great, but it's not as great as something greater?
