I'm not a pro on this, but I believe there is a law in my state saying that people under 18 who have an age difference of three years or more may not participate in sexual activities together. That's just info from my friend, so you don't necessarily have to trust it.

Now this I do know is true:
When anyone under the age of 16 has sex, it is considered a form of rape, regardless of willingness or the age of the partner.

The boy's birthday is January 28 1988

The "3 year age difference" you referenced actually varies from state to state.

no there is no law against it untill he turns 18 and then the law is a 3 year difference...so if yall are even 3 years and 1 day it would be illegal once he turns 18 if yall become sexually active. but even then, without a complaining party or a confession its impossible to prosecute. and yes, i know this for sure. at least in the U.S. other countrys i am not too sure but tend to be less strict then the u.s.

yeah, there arent really any laws (or at least that I know of) that restrict ages on dating. I think laws just come into play when youre dating someone over 18 and sexual intercourse is onvolved. I may be wrong, but that is just what I have heard/read.
