My best best closest friend in the world is a male. The only reason i say that is people in my school feel that we cant be just friends. Like his friends they always ask "Do you guys go out"? When me or benjamin (my friends name) say no they say ohh you guys are friends with something on the side Do you think they are jealous?

I don't think they are jealous but just looking for something to poke fun at...It's a teens life...laugh and have fun and it's a topic which is funny to them...Don't woory bout it...theu shouldn't affect your friendship if it's true. Good luck.

I don't know if they are jealous or not, maybe they think since you and your friend are so close that you actually are dating or something.

I get that all the time most of my friends are guys.I've gotten that treatment before, but i've never come to the conclusion that they were jealous.
Just ignore those other people are prolly just joking around and stuff. It shouldn't really matter to you and your friend.
