The tax is not right, and we need to keep it from happening, before they try to tax everything. The tobacco industries can only be blamed to a certain extent. Obviously it's somewhat of an influence, but regardless..people know what harm will or may come if they do choose to smoke, and the harm that does come can only be blamed on their stupidity.
I do believe smoking cause cancer and millions of deaths every year, but i don't believe its the tobacco Companies fault. The companies don't take a cigeratte and force it in the people's mouth and force them to smoke. People make these desicions all by themselves. Tobbaco isn't allowed to avertise on tv or the radio. Even if you did make cigerattes illigal people would still smoke them. Just like people still smoke weed even though its illigal. I say if people know that cigerattes cause lung cancer and they still want to smoke them that is there problem not mine or the tobacco company. If people stop buying cigerattes then the tobacco company would be out of business. All tobacco companies are trying to do is make money and if people are stupid enough to smoke knowing it will kill them then its there darn fault and nobody elses. So don't attack the tobbaco companies attack the people. alcohol kill people every year by drunk driving and other means but you don't see anyone tryin to boycott budwiser. In fact budwiser gets commerical during major tv events like the superbowl. So if were going to blame companies for killing people lets try to get them all.

Why would you want to? So what if that hottie at the mall was and the only way to meet him is to smoke... forget him... their are 200 million other hot guys who aren't smokers. That's what my friends and I discovered. We were at our hang out one night eating mexican and this hottie walked in and he was with his parents. He pasted by us and said, "Hey dudes? What's up?" smiled and winked. ow ow. We spyed on him all through dinner and we got caught 5 of the 20 times, but it didn't matter. While I was eating I noticed we were near the smoking section and I was coughing really badly. When I looked up I saw the culpret of my attack. It was him. The hottie. I told my other muskateers and we all began coughing and we said, "Why would you smoke?" "What girl would like a smoker". The sad thing was he didn't care. We noticed he tried to hide the fact that he smoked. The other sad thing was that we know girls would smoke to just be near him. That's sad. Stand up. Stick out. And fight tobacco. It sucks to die young.

Your right, I am enti-government when it comes to tobacco. Also add welfare, our immigration policy, social security, medicare and our current tax system. However I am not a general anti-government like you. I specify what I do not like. You seems to like nothing our government produces and would rather smoke marijuana than ever take up a serious political debate.
