I do not support guns at all. I know it is the person behind the gun killing people, but guns make it so much easier for people. A lot of children get hurt just because they are playing with a gun that is someone elses, and they just found it because someone left it sitting there. Does anyone support guns? Because I don't see the need for them in our society. What does everyone think about guns in general? Are laws making guns easier to get, anyway to solve the problems in this world?

Okay, I'd just like to say that you guys, for one, are being rediculous. You don't cuss at each other whilst debating on something that has ALREADY happened and CANNOT be stopped. Secondly, I'd like to say that it has been a great time RESEARCHING this subject, and that I learned a lot. Thirdly, There is evidence that Dylan Klebold, one of the Columbine killers, was actually pressured into doing what he did by the latter of the two, Eric Harris. I find it almost humiliating that people in this country would do such a thing because of PEER PRESSURE, but nonetheless, it may have been so. I'm not sure what to say on this subject. All I know is that we shouldn't make it easy for criminals to get their hands on a gun so easily. On the other hand, people who are law abiding citizens should be able to have a gun in their household to protect themselves should they chose to do so because it makes them feel safer.

yeah another famous prison weapon is the crossbow a guy made out of paper mache the elastic waist band from his underwear and a... That is very true...Besides, if guns were abolished, and people weren't smart enough to make the aforementioned plumbing rifle, it's a hell of a lot easier to make bows, arrows, crossbows, and other archaic long-range weaponry. All guns do is make it easier to get at people from further away than you can throw a knife.

Adding together total firearms related deaths counting death from wars (not discerning from other things you can die from in war, like disease, or explosives, or anything like that) and your still no where close to a billion, or even the high 100 millions. to get 5 times more than 30 billion (6 billion x 5 billion) to get that 24 billion something like god... even thinking geometrically I can't comprehend the number of people that would have to have been killed and instead of being killed have 3+ children to get that extra 24 billion more people on the planet

shit average child birth per family in china was 10 kids per family and they just hit 2 billion

a lot of people keep guns as self defense. but if guns were simply abolished completely then there would be no need. i mean i believe in self defense of course but i think there are many other ways to do it. the population in our world would be 5 times it's population now if it weren't for guns.

Guns don't inspire people to be violent: words and ideas do. That's why I'm surprised those aren't better-regulated.

I try to see evey side of every story. It dosn't matter how many saws the governmaent makes for controlling guns, people brake them anyway. So why make it harder for the the people who do abide by the law. I am a big hunting person so my familly own a lot of guns. But we fallow all laws for gun saftey. We unload them, open them up, keep them in a gun cabnit, keep it locked up, and the bullets sapperate. Now if u can tell me what kid would be able to get a gun out of that then I will throw all this in the trash. It's not the kids or the guns that should be responsible for kids with guns, it's the people who don't handle the guns the right way who should be responsible for it. Putting limits on guns because of people who dont fallow the laws would just make it harder for people who do fallow the laws like my family. blaming the guns for people using them for things that are against the law is like blaming spoons for fat people.
