Whats up with Physc Wards. I mean i just got back home from one and they really did nothing for me except diagnose me with anxiaty and put me on Zoloft. i mean i went there because of suicide attempts and i had attempted like 20 times or so. so the hospital down in burlington sent me up to iowa city and i was up there for only like four days. they didnt do anything at all for me. i still cut and overdose. i do more cutting than overdosein cause charcoal is disgusting and if anyone finds out u r overdosing they will take u to the hospital and u will have to drink charcoal. well anyways i got off the subject. there were like a lot of teens up there and they were up there for physc reasons too but like 4 or 5 of them were up there for eating disorders and they were in a physc ward. its stupid. oh yeah and they wont let u have necklaces if ur up there for suicide reasons and they wont let u use scissors either. unless u ask and then sometimes they still wont let u. but anyways they dont do anything for half the kids up there cause they will just be coming back for the same reasons

I wish we had physics wards... I'd be happy to be admitted.

My family does not believe in drugs or professional help. If you've got issues, they just kind of ban TV, the internet, and music.
When I was forced to go to therapy by my school, all the therapist said was, "You think too much. You shouldn't think about things." She also asked me one day, out of the blue, "Do you want to kill yourself?" And then she started telling me about how religion helped her feel better about life.
I would have preferred the drugs.

Zoloft is not prescribed for anxiety (but the commercials are so interesting). It is prescribed for moderate to severe depression. My doctor prescribed Zoloft to me based on one question: She asked me how I felt about life in general, and I simply told her I hate people. Thus, I was quickly put on Zoloft, because that doctor was a Nazi (and of course, she got paid for prescribing it to me), and if I was truly depressed, I would hate my life.. which I do not. I'm quiet content. With that being said, anyone want to buy some prescriptions?

Also, if your primary-care physician tries to put you on prescription, be aware that they do not specialize in psychiatry. So, if you're truly depressed/have anxiety, go to a psychiatrist, or a mental health analyst. I doubt you being tossed around the medical system and placed in a psychiatric ward could do much help for you.

I don't think we need more, I just think we need tougher rules to keep certain people in.
