Just curious to know if anyone likes Bush's policies, affirmative actions, etc. Would Clinton have made a better leader now that the United States is having problems with Iraq?

With all respect to everyone's opinions, I think that Bush is very conceded and doesn't have the brains to run this country to it's full potential. Do you ever wonder if he even remembers the fact that there are children and innocent people in Iraq? Yeah, Saddam and Osama Bin Laden should be punished.. I mean death penalty punishment BUT, that is still someones home that he is bombing the hell out of!!! I'm sure that there is some type of action being taken to protect these people but every night on the news all you hear about is how 10 or 20 innocent civilians died today over there. Plus, he really hasn't payed much attention to our country's teenagers. Thanks Yall!

I like George Bush I think that saddams and bin laden attack on America would have happened sooner or later. And I personally like his attitude about the whole situation. I live in Texas so I have to deal with the way he governs and I have come to agree on most ideas. I think that Gore would have made it worst and wouldnt have handle has well as Bush has. And Clinton dont even get me started!! That's me! Caiside

he invented censorship along with his wife, it's known as the PMRC and is the reason you can not go into a store and buy whatever CD or Tape you want, and I have to say since that day I have seen more and more censorship in school and everywhere......

Clinton during a time of war? The lunatic would have dropped a nuke on the whole middle east after 9-11. But, I think that Bush is taking the right track here with Iraq. While some of the things he's doing even I might not agree with, I'm a hell of a lot more comfortable with him in power now, instead of someone like Gore, or that Green Party guy...Nader....Nader would have given the Iraqis flowers and Gore would have told them that he invented everything in the world, and that they should |>|-|34|2 him.

quote: It's true that America has decreased in popularity since Bush came to power
Actually, right before the war, he popularity level plummeted with Americans. But now many more Americans are supporting Bush (conveniently for him, since we have the elections in 2004 ) But most countries will always find some grudge with the American president. That’s nothing particularly new. quote: But Bush kinda rubs it in everybody elses faces. Which is pretty much why he p*sses other countries off.
That's called political mudslinging. Most politics do it because they can- that have power and influence that normal citizens don’t have.

By that, I meant he's irritatingly gung-ho. Of course, being the president of america, he will be pro-America, I understand that! I didn't mean it that way.
It's true that America has decreased in popularity since Bush came to power. I can pretty confidently say that from articles I've read in (british) newspapers. I mean, sure, America's been a superpower for a long time… But Bush kinda rubs it in everybody elses faces. Which is pretty much why he p*sses other countries off. -Pen

quote: He's all GO USA! Yadda yadda yadda. Not many people like America since Bush came to power, and that's not a co-incidence
Why would he not be "all GO USA?" He's the head of the country. Of course he supports it. And many people/countries have despised America since we became the world's only superpower; it wasn't the working of Bush. And not too many people -truly- hate America when there are thousands of immigrants entering the country every week. That's no coincidence

I don't like Bush. I'm not sure whether the war on Iraq was a good move or not, but either way, in my opinion, he enjoyed it far too much, and I strongly suspect he's an idiot. He doesn't care about looking after the planet. And then there's his arrogance. He's all GO USA! Yadda yadda yadda. Not many people like America since Bush came to power, and that's not a co-incidence. Clinton was a little sleazy, but I think Bush is far worse, simply because he's made his country so phenomenally unpopular, with everyone. Yeah. Hate the guy. -Pen

I can't say I really like Bush and maybe not Clinton that much either but I don't hate them. I guess I just think that someone who actually knows what they're doing should run for president. After September 11 I'd say he's doing an ok job w/ the war but I don't know about things here in the U.S. not related to the war.
