You don't sound as old as you think... anyway, internet relationships can work. If you're looking in chat rooms for the sole purpose of finding a boyfriend or girlfriend that's a little odd, but if you meet someone in a chat and you just sort of click there's nothing "weird" or "strange" about it.

People shouldn't hide behind phoney names on the internet they should go out and do something. It is ok to talk to your friend say from school online or say you want to vent your feelings but can't tell any one you know for some reason in my opinion that is fine. But tring to find someone that you want to love and cherish you can't do that it is damn near impossible. This is my opinion and I want to hear your opinion on the subject of internet dating. no matter what side your on I want to hear all of the veiws on this subject.

I know i sound like a adult but I am a really young person with some adult views. I think you should get out of the house and meet some people insted of talking to people online that you think you know but you really don't.

Dumars3, That is a true point that I forgot to add and that is ridiculus how people are just ask some one out just get over it people are afraid sometimes but you just have to over come it.

I think it is just plain weird! I mean you are hiding from people using an anonomous name and people want to meet you! People are too affraid of rejection and need to learn that you cant please everyone just be yourself, besides if they werent on line they could be out meeting real live people instead of a screen name.
