quote: I think the possibility of a woman getting pregnant from a rape is pretty small
How so? If the woman uses a form of birth control that requires knowing roughly when you will being having sex she may very well not have it in, (though she might just in case), or she may not use female birth control at all, and the guys I don't think are likely to pause and put on a rubber, and from what I understand both people involved in the rape are usually young and therefore more likely to be fertile then the sexually active population as a whole. ~Kitty

Pro-choice for sure. Everyone keeps saying about well if a woman gets raped or something, I think the possibility of a woman getting pregnant from a rape is pretty small. Besides, how is the clinic supposed to know if a woman was raped or not? It would go against her rights to ask for a police report and stuff (i would think). Besides, it's her body, let her do with it as she sees fit.

Pro-Choice.
I complete disagree with those who believe that abortion should be illegal. Women will continue having them, even if they are - it just creates a greater risk of infection, death, etc.
I don't believe I'll ever have an abortion. I still fully support a womans right to choose.
Pro-Choice does not equal Pro-Death. Pro-Choice = Individual decisions for individual people

Pro-life because its not right to kill a baby just because you made a mistake but if you were raped, then you should have a choice whether to abort or deliver the baby, but delivering the baby is still encouraged.

That was lovely. Totally wrong, but lovely in the whole morbid humor way.

im kind of in the middle of the whole pro life pro choice thing because i think it should be legal if a girl gets raped and gets pregnate, i think the girl should have the choice of wether or not to keep it. BUT if a couple has sex, doesnt use protection and the chick gets pregnate, im pro life in that kind of situation because that just isnt fair to kill the baby cuz of there laziness, so i dont really pick sides i think it just depends on the situations.

I have to agree with luv4ever. My stance on this is grey. I think it should remain legal because it is a woman's personal decision to get it done. Women are continuously held with the responsibility of raising a child just because they're the ones that get pregnant and so they should have an option that allows them the same rights as men. On the other hand, if I theoretically got pregnant, I wouldn't opt for abortion. If I had sex and if the consequence was a child, then I have to take up the responsibility of raising that child even if it means giving up dreams and goals.

I'm pro-choice. I don't think I'd ever get an abortion. Actually, I'm going to try as hard as I can to never get pregnant. (Not saying I won't have sex because, well, I will.) But because I want to adopt but that's another board right there so........Yeah, I think its the woman's choice. Ultimately, its her body. She is the one that has to carry the zygote/fetus/baby and she's the one that has to push it out of her. She should be allowed to make the decision. By the way, some mothers get depressed after giving birth too.

pro-choice. although I personally am not sure if I could ever carry out with an abortion, I believe women should have the option to if it is needed, such as if they got accidentally pregnant and cannot afford to bring up a healthy child and support them in the best way possible. Also, being forced to give birth and keep a child you don't even want cannot be healthy for either the mother or the child. (Emotionally healthy, that is.)

I'm pro-life, i guess, but i don't think that abortion should be made illigal because of the presedents religious stance.

Pro-life. The whole "it's okay to kill your baby" thing kinda turns me off.

pro-choice, women can do whatever they want to do with their bodies. i think its wrong for me, but whatever a woman does to her body or her "baby" is her choice. if you're against it, don't do it. just that easy.

quote: you dont get depressed
Some women do. Because of hormoans as well as the realization of what happens. No not all women will get depressed, but many do. My whole stane on the issue is very grey. Abortion is wrong in my view. However I'm not 100% against it. I have two friends that have gotten them in the past year. I think a better option is adoption, but for some people that wont work... Sorry, I'm complicated heh
