my uncle and his friend told me some disturbing things today.

• Bill Clinton, among others, wants the UN to form a global nation, with one currency, the Eurodollar.
• there is a super computer in belgium named the beast. it is marking people on their foreheads and hands so they can scan them. much like our retina scans. and it is the worlds largest computer system.
• the people in belgium have connected it to 7 computers around the world. the seven heads of the beast.

has anyone else heard this??

I'm sorry but I think that a united currency and nation would be absolutely horrible. I like my rights, my religion, and the ability to move to a different country if the government I live in goes crazy. But I'm sure that you would love one big stupid world like in 1984 now wouldn't you?

I think that if there will be a rapture, no one will predict it. It will be in a day no one thought it could happen.

I think this has been said on this board a few times already but I just wanted to add that you can't predict the apocalypse, the industrial revolution drove a bunch of people insane because they were positive that the world was coming to an end with new technology. Also just to let you know, England is going to vote sometime soon on whether or not they should be a part of the EU, and whether or not America wants to have the Euro for its currency, England at least for a while wants to stick with the pound. And even as a Christian I highly doubt the rapture theory, the apocalyse is supposed to be a bad time that Christians have to endure, not something where god shoots us up in to heaven the minute it starts. I think it's funny that you are frightened of the apocalypse happening yet you love Bush, I won't tell you that I like Kerry either but Bush's whole adoration of homeland security will bit by bit lose us our privacy until we are all scaned like well ordered machines. But never assume the rapture will happen, as it says in the bible, only god knows.

As far as the rapture goes, its just a laughing matter. If some Christian's cat has a litter of seven kittens, they're going to claim that the rapture is coming.

If the entire world were Christian, I would be worried.
The fact is, it is ranked third. Atheism, if be counted as a religion, and Buddhism top the ranks. Thus, I am not worried.
The rapture has always been predicted...Nostradamus predicted it in year 2003, by the way, did you know? And then it changed to year 2004...so far, nada.
One religion does not dominate all. 'Scary computer' systems like that are based all over the world...and they aren't there for control.
It simply does not 'have the power' to occur. Besides, when the Bible was written, who had heard of microchips anyway? That is just a systematic device overly-religious Christians use because of the age we exist.
