quote: "We shall have a world government, whether or not we like it. The question is only whether world government will be achieved by consent or by conquest." -- James Warburg, international banker, 1950, Senate Foreign Relations Committee testimony
I was reading, skimming, studying Constitution.org, and came across a very interesting paper about the march of this country - actually the leader of it all - into a World Government, and how everyone in strategic places have been directing it. It's pretty lengthy, but has some very damning quotes from some of the country - and world's most famous people. This crap about us being a "Global Community" is actually not some diabolical, closed-door conspiracy theory. It's out in the open and it's all here for everyone to see. I haven't read through it all yet, but so far it's getting to be a little scary...how these One World Government proponents have hijacked education, the media, government, etc. Interesting stuff, that's for sure. http://www.constitution.org/col/cuddy_nwo.txt

That scares me too. It seems to me that separate governments are necessary, that they almost provide a global system of checks and balances, a system that shouldn't be destroyed. Besides, it doesn't seem feasible to me that a single world-government would be capable of meeting the demographic and cultural needs and demands of all corners of the globe, or that it could effectively enforce its laws and provisions in areas where they may be unpopular.
Those are just my initial thoughts; I haven't read the information, but I will, and then I'll comment on it.
