Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the first time in History (as far as I know CA history) that there is a re-call election for Governor. And the voting for this whole mess if tomorrow. But I was wondering what does everyone else think of CA? I feel like were a laughing stock of the U.S.A. Were going to pay for this big time. But what's your thoughts? Do you care? Do you think were idiots?

The things he's done to screw up California (due to his stupid decisions) is by me a crime.

DepressedWithoutReason: It's because of insanely high taxes that so many businesses and people left California, one of the many reasons why California's economy and budget are so poor right now. It's also because of out of control government spending that the deficit in California grew out of control. If Arnold can get rid of those two things, then the economy will improve and so will the deficit. Anyway, what do his fluent English skills mean he'll make a bad governor? He's been a success at pretty much everything in his life even without being able to speak English fluently, he's obviously not stupid and definitely knows how to handle money. And if people really can't understand him, he can always hire a translator or something with all the millions he has.

Arnold- will **** everything up... all he wants is to lower taxes... and taxes pay for the government... and he can't even speak properly, and can't answer politic's questions... that's sad

Boustimante- is a raciest- no offense to anyone- he'll turn CA into Mexico.

McClintock- has good argument, can actually answer politic's questions, and isn't racist. BUT he probably won't win. Idoits...

let's define recall.

i hear from every liberal (mostly on other sites and in casual conversation) that since Davis was fairly elected, he should stay in power. Whats more, they say, is that he has committed no crimes.

But committing a crime, like Slick Willy did, is grounds for IMPEACHMENT...not recall. Recall was created for the exact purpose in which it is being used in CA...to recall a governor who not very many people like.

Every liberal who doesn't agree with recall, remember it was a democratic legislature who passed the recall into law.

I doubt that Arnold could do much worse than the soon-to-be former governor, especially given his big successes in life. Let's see, under Gray Davis the deficit ballooned (which he lied about), crime increased, special interests gained a huge amount of influence, illegal immigration increased and the California educational system became a joke. Very few people besides maybe left-wing racists like Bustamante could possibly screw things up worse. I think it's embarrassing that state government there could be so inept and unpopular that a recall succeeded, but that's just the way things go, especially in a state full of political extremists and general craziness like California.

i think well...im not sure bout the recall...There is a huge mess with arnold swartzaneger....man, what is our world coming to! i mean the middle east and jus...ugghh! im so fed up wid all this controversy, and fighting, and violence..well, i dont know what to say bout the california recall...but, i do agree...California will or might pay BIG TIME for this recall.
