Dus? Hmm...Your sense of humor is nice, but a simple type-o?
Internet abbreviations are not cool. They're just simple. Why write out a whole word? Maybe I'm on the lazy side here, but what's the point of writing out the whole world, if you can substitute it with something faster? Please no traditional junk as a reply to this...(Example:
"American youth would do anything to make life simpler. Back when I was a girl, we had to...People are getting dumber and dumber." An actual response to this question here. If we're getting dumber, we wouldn't create things that make life simpler. Why go down to a river and use a wash board if you can stick all your clothes into a washer? Nobody has the answer to that one, and I have yet to meet a person who prefers the first method over the washer.)

Would someone please bomb AOL chat rooms with messages telling all those 12-year olds that internet abbreviations are not cool?
But..your question "What's Dus gonna do with him?" Is a very good question. So will answer it.
You see, Dus was getting slightly lonely in his Chicago studio apartment, and he wanted both to find a little friend and to impress the ladies. So, Dus said to himself "I should go down to the shelter and adopt a Saddam Hussein!" So, Dus put on his hat, coat, and driving gloves, got into his shiny Kia Amanti, and drove down to the shelter. When he got there, there were the kennels, all lined up, with over thirty Saddam Husseins, wearing green milatary uniforms and wearing little hats. Most of them barked at him, jumping up and down, leaping at their bars. None of them seemed right to Dus. Then, in the back, he saw the cutest little Saddam Hussein, with a charming salt-and-pepper beard, not jumping, but simply sitting on his haunches and wagging his tail. Dus walked over, and this Saddam Hussein gave off a single, happy little bark. Dus exclaimed "I'll take this one!" And went home happy.
Unfortunatly, Dus' Saddam Hussein died of lyme disease 3 days later.
So, what is Dus going to do to him?
Why, bury him in a zombie-creating pet cemetary, of course!

I don't either. I mean, after all, I am aware of it, what more do you want?

Bout Saddam...
At first when I found out, I was sure it wasn't him. He has many doubles, and followers who would gladly be tortured in order to save their leader. Someone did tell me the DNA confirmed it WAS him, but lately I couldn't get around to it to make sure it was so. I go through a complicated process to get to the truth, because the tricky thing is hard to get to these days...

saddam hussein crawled out of the hole, and the democratic 9 walked in.
i also can't help but notice the constant bickering and hurling of slurs and epithets by many of the left leaning posters on this site.
maybe the old mantra of "ranting liberals" isn't a faux pas after all.

Alanis Morsette has already ruined the meaning of that word for the world. It'd be close to redundant to correct this horendous mistake one victim at a time.

It would be Ironic because everyone thinks it is Saddam, but it isn't. Irony= Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs. *snicker*

It seems clear that the leftists are, by definition, hypocrites, blaming Bush when things do not go well in Iraq but refusing to credit him when they do. I have said for years that hypocrisy is virtually synonymous with socialism/modern liberalism, and this is a picture-perfect example. The liberal double-standard. Therefore, by the socialists' line of thinking, no Democrat deserves creddit for anything positive either. (Although very few have done anything positive in recent memory anyway.) I will remember that always, and bear it in mind in the next time I'm considering voting for a Democrat that I would otherwise have supported.

I'm telling ya, they caught Santa, the b@stards! Why is noone reacting to this? But seriously, it's stupid to say that Bush deserves full credit for Saddam's capture. It's not like he personally found him. And I don't think Saddam being caught will bring the automatic peace in Iraq that Bush and Blair are talking about: that's over-optimistic political spin. The fact remains, Iraqis are not happy, and Saddam being captured will not change their level of satisfaction with occupation. Saddam was terrible, but it seems like coalition forces are not providing such a great government either. Unless that changes, nothing is going to get better in Iraq. Inky.
