I guess I still qualify as a newbie...not even 200 posts...shame shame. Am I this bad? At least when I was new, I actually read what the buttons say: there is one that says "post reply" and another one that says something like "new topic". Hmmmm, which should I choose?

I don't think I'm actually part cactus...he could leave if he wanted to, and I would still be me...but I'm not really sure why he's there in the first place. One day, I was working in my flower garden, and I hear this voice in my head tell me that the calla lilies need water...it weirded me out...but he told me he was Sam, a cactus spirit, and that he was going to live in my mind now. It was all very strange.

So you are part cactus? Or was he married into the family?

Well, he doesn't really grow...he's actually an Uncle, which is what some people call the spirit of a saguaro cactus. He just sort of speaks in my mind...I think he might be some sort of spiritual guide. But he's kind of wacky.

Yup. And he wears mittens and drinks out of a flask.
