BoundforGlory, you, like many westerners are looking at a small part of the conflict rather than the whole picture.

Do you even understand why 3rd world countries are "3rd world." You don't tie in their history, politics, resources, economy, environment, etc.. - all these factors affect the nation. It's not the fault of the people that government is unstable and unable to make living in that certain country easier. It is not the fault of the people if there is a famine or disease and they don't have money to pay for food or medicine because their crops died or they might not have crops at all if they didn't live in an environment suitable for growing things. Furthermore, foreign imports dominate many markets so local artisans might have slower businesses.

Okay, i got a little off topic but my point is : Understand the surrounding circumstances of any event before judging and making critical statements.

What I mean is, BoundForGlory was condemning ALL non-white immigration, rather than merely illegal immigration.

Crime rates are not inherent to race, they are more likely a product of social inequality and the black/Mexican population being generally poorer.

Also, a thought on immigrants: Your country could not function without them, so as long as they're legal, you should be grateful for their presence.

Bullsh*t. They already have. If White people were to blame for as much destruction as Blacks or Mexicans, this country would be a 3rd world nation. Think about it, Whites are over 70% of the population. If the percentage of criminals in the White race were the same as the percentage of black criminals in the black race alone, there wouldn't be enough room in prison. When you look at racial statistics, you have to consider population statistics. Like I said before, look at non-White nations. Aside from Asians, other races are near incapable of building or maintaining anything more than 3rd world. This is because of their primitive instincts.

It has nothing to do with nationality. I wouldn't have a problem with Germans, Italians, French, etc. coming to our country. It has to do with race. And there is much more to race than skin color. I suggest you start thinking with your brain instead of your heart. It's not rational to theorize individual instances like you are suggesting. We have to analyze things collectively. You have to think about issues like this from a scientific, logical point of view.

This could be either incredibly beneficial for the U.S. or a serious problem. The early info on Bush's plan is to try to integrate current or would-be illegals into a "legal" workforce - in a sense, he wants to give immigrants an "amnesty" for going legit. I hope this works according to the theory. But I do think Bush is gearing up to pull a ***** here.

If we can afford to send billions of dollars to Israel each year, and fight wars that aren't completely necessary to our survival, I'm sure we are capable of protecting our own borders.
