I like constainople(Istanbul) but I think rome would be better or perhaps somewhere in switzerland? maybe even Geneva or Copenhagen or one of those other euro cities that think they rule the world

Indeed my friend. My knowledge of that country is somewhat limited.I have only mentioned civil rights due to the EU-Turkey talks. But areyou absolutely certain that religious abuses are not common-perhaps not in the open i agree, but under the surface? Its just something i have heard about-but cannot confirm.Thank you for correcting me In the light of the new infromation you have provided me with, i must say that Istanbul, does sound like a sound choice. Take care my friend

well you obviously know little of turkey, civil rights abuses are few and getting better all the time, and your clash of religions comment is way off mark, through the ottoman empire and republic, religious tolerance has always been very high and there is no discrimination whatsoever against religious groups. Rome would be a good choice also I agree! and isnt everybody biased? im not turkish but happen to love the country.

Two points. FIrst=and the fact that youre displaying a turkish flag doesnt make you in any way biased?SEcond=Bearing in mind that Istanbul lies in the heart of a nation known for its civil rights abuse and clash of religions...would it really be the ideal place?WHy not Jerusalem (birth of christ), or Sub-Sahara(birth of humans), or even Rome for that matter????
