I read this story called "Utopia." Everyone was supposed to be egual. No one could be smarter then another person. No one could be prettier, or uglier, smarter, or friendlier. Seems somewhat fair. But... The smart people got little machines put into their ear. It mad noises every 20 seconds (gun shots, car crashes etc.) so that the person would loose their train of thought. They couldn't concentrate, therefor they wern't that smart. The beautiful people had to wear hideous masks, so they would be no prettier then anyone else. The best dancer in a show had to wear weights around thir necks, and arms, and legs, that sometimes weighed more then them. This pervented them from being the best dancer. They were no better then any other dancer. And so the story went on like that, and If you refused to wear the weights, or mask, or hearing deivse, you would be killed by the king.
So, if everyone was equal, I doubt it would ever work this way, But I just thought it was interesting.

Well, yes, that's actually what I meant. Trying really hard doesn't make money. Getting something done does. I misspoke. Love, Jen.

___You'd have to kill me off before we can ALL be equal, seeing as how I'm so much better than you all.
___If acomplishment isn't the reward, then somebody needs a dictionary.

No jen, reward should be based on accomplishment.

Reward should be based on effort. Everyone should be equal financially if everyone works equally (with variability allowed for factors such as education, ect.) Otherwise, yes, it leans toward communism. And your point is?
