yeah.
-Some call me a wandering soul. Some call me a traveler without a purpose or destination. Some call me diffrent, resevered, maybe even dangerous. What I truly am is what you'll have to find out for yourself.

yeah i have been writing poems since i was in gradeschool but lately i have been so busy with schoolwork that i couldnt really write with all the stuff for school in my head. I found this poem posted in our school bulletin board and it really struck me, mostly as i go through with my everyday life. Taking a Stand (Elaine Creasman) I used to think taking a stand for You--- meant arguing with people who didnt believe in You or Your word or who mocked Your name but lately Lord I realized if I want people to show how great You are, I need to let your greatness shine in and through me by loving the unlovable being kind to the unkind and blessing those who curse me---- and You in taking a stand for You by doing what you called me to do no matter what the criticism or callousness I face. Im battling against the lies of the enemy. Taking a stand starts with embracing this truth: If I want you to be real to others, I must allow You to be real to me then Im truly standing up for You not just with words but with my life.

When the last of my childhood portraits had shattered on the floor, we all knew what was to blame. It was the earthquake right inside the house. I still smelled him, his castor oil and opium underneath my nails.
He held me up to his mouth and sipped me like a steaming bowl of lentil soup. Slowly, and initimately, and thoughtfully, and deliciously, and deeply, and thoroughly; he melted all of my frigid emotions and watched victoriously as they dripped off my thighs three at a time. While being cradled on his ebony chest of heaving compassion, our nostrils fed air into one another's lungs. My breath was exhaled through his quivering mouth whose thick lips tasted like me, and freshly smoked ganja. Our dace was balanced by the sacred stare which we promised each other. His carribean whispers of sweet somethings fell on ears that had been waiting, for centuries in a molded doorway, for his arrival. And any luggage he may have brought. My neck snapped back, as if trying to console the small of my back. This triggered his muffled growls, with which he displayed delicately, reverence of my moon.

absolutely, poetry is an excellent way to let go of your hard feelings and it can make your life so much easier. With the war with Iraq, you can write a poem and get it publish to tell the country how you feel about the war and your insight. Poem is excellent!! I've written many poetry, and published one.
peace

I love poetry like so much! You have no idea(unless you have written it before) how you can tell like a whole story in just a few lines!
