No, because the UN is only a power if everyone submits to it. At least the UN doesn't blow up buildings and feed people to dogs alive.

I think we have a moral obligation to promote democracy in other nations. Believe me, I understand what you are saying and I respect your opinion, but if we have to belief in the bill of rights and back it up. How can we say that the world is free if people are being oppressed even in our own back yard (When I say that I am referring to Cuba which is only one hundred miles from the Florida shore).

Totally agree. When we were founded as a nation, we pleeded France for help, they did not come in and conquer us.
