...I don't know if someone does go to heaven if they have never heard about Christianity, I'm gonna have to look more into that, it's a good question.
As for the other part, that they would go to hell because they didn't accept Christ, well if they didn't accept Him then they didn't accept salvation and they made a conscious choice knowing the consequences. So wether they die a year or seconds later deniying salvation, it was still a conscious choice, so I don't see the difference. When I tell someone about Christ I'm not thinking to myself "you're so gonna go to hell." I'm trying to give them a choice to a better life, the life I know, the life with Jesus. I can't see myself living a life without Christ knowing everything that He has done for me, from healing me from Lukemia when I was a child to helping me every step of the way all my life. This is what I'm thinking when I tell someone about Christ; that life can be better.
sweet day.

I knew that. I swear! Thank you- it was driving me crazy; I just couldn't remember. I HATE not being able to remember words...but, since that's not the point of this topic, I'll leave it at that. Love and thanks, Jen.

SMOTE! How I knew that I have no idea. Probably my religion teacher talking about how we were all going to Hell back when I was Catholic.

Is there a past tense for smite? Smitten seems more like a hopelessly in love kind of thing than a struck down kind of thing, and smited sounds ridiculous. Oh, the boredom. Jen

In all honesty, I didn't read the "altered" little children song. It gives me the feeling that God is going to come up and smite me. Ridiculous, yes, but true.

For some reason even though I hate Christianity as a religion and don't believe in it, I love Jesus. How that ends up happening I don't know. Probably that he was a radical. And... Um, I can't think; I need sleep. Anyway, I'm somehow offended by mocking Jesus even though I don't subscribe to his religion. Jesus really did love the little children; the real question is whether God gives a damns.

Meep. No comment. I make absolutely no claim to have the answer to this question, despite researching it several times. Love to all, Jen.

HAHAHAHAHAHA, I love it when those Protestants talk about Catholic myths or the evil of Catholicism. It's so absurd. Let's just hope the whole thing eventually collapses in on it's own ridiculousness, or Jerry Falwell's ego grows so large that it spontaneously destroys the whole religious establishment.

quote: Or wait maybe it was the first level of hell. Its been a while since ive read that book.
perhaps you are subscribing to the catholic myth. There is only one hell and one heaven. quote: No one who has faith in God's Son will be condemned. But everyone who doesn't have faith in him has already been condemned for not having faith in God's only Son.
to have faith, u must know what you are having faith in. if u dont know, ur disqualified and therefore u go to the white throne seat of judgement where u are judged on ur good and bad deeds.

I thought we needed to make some minor changes to our much beloved Bible tunes.
Original Version:
"Jesus loves all the little children, All the children of the world; Red and yellow, black and white, They are precious in his sight; Jesus loves the little children of the world!"
"Jesus wants the little children, To be careful what they do; Honor father, mother dear Keep their hearts so full of cheer; Then he’ll take them home to glory by and by!"
Revised Version:
"Jesus damns all the little children; All the children of the world; Sunburned orange, green as mold They sometimes question what they're told Jesus damns the little children of the world!"
"Jesus wants the little children, To burn in hell inside their Sunday schools; Sell their daughters, marry their brothers, Stone to death their blasphemous mothers, Then he'll take them home to glory by and by!"
This song makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, you know?

Some people have pointed out that you can get to heaven on a pure heart and I would like to take a second to tell you otherwise. The only way to the father is through the son!And just believing wont get you there either. For the demons and Satan believe in God but would not be sent to heaven. "But some will say, 'you have faith;i have deeds.Show me your faith without deeds and I will show you my faith by what I do.'You believe that there is one God.GOOD!Even the demons believe that---and shudder." James 2:18-19

Just because one is a Christian does not mean that we can determine who gets into Heaven, and who does not. Only God can be the judge of that, and when someone dies, they will be judged. By accepting Jesus into one's heart, you are given a ticket to Heaven... just because you are not a Christian doesn't mean that you will be sent to Hell. So realli... its for God to decide, not Christians to claim. =] And yes... I'm a Christian.

Not to ruin anyone's day, but the Catholic religion has been proven wrong on several occasions. Adam & Eve, the 7 day creation, Jesus hanging on the cross. Yes, that has been proven flase. In the Bible, the nails were in his palms. Science has proven that nails would have to be in his arms, or his arms would break off of his hands if they were as in the Bible.

Can I ask you this? Who hasn't heard of Christianity? If you think about it, every child is pretty much brought up at least HEARING about it. There is no way to avoid it. It's out there. You have friends that go to church and might invite you to go with them or whatever. So if someone hasn't heard about Christianity by the time they're at LEAST 9, they have been completely shut off from the outside world. COMPLETELY. And that, in itself, is impossible. So when you find someone who hasn't heard about Christianity, you come to me and tell me. Then I'll give you an answer.
