i read a topic about white people "trying" to act Black etc....
i just wanted to know: how are black people supposede to act and how are white people supposed to act, and who ****ing cares?????

can someone please define this for me because i just don't understand why some people are puting other people's hbbies in catagories, which can only be partisipated by a particular races, for exaple rapping.

in the same way we are intitled to free speach, i'm sure that if you are white, black or any damn colour in this world, we are also intitled to do what ever we please, and not feel restricted because of our colour.

i used to depise joey too, but you cant change people. thus i forced myself to learn to accept him (unless he says something REALLY stupid, in which case ill fire back).

I agree, people should be able to do whatever they want (well, you know, within legal limits) regardless of what race , skin color, geneder, religion, ect. they are.

I'm getting the sense that this article that you a referring to describes modern white youth in the suburbs attempting to imitate the ghetto fabulous lifestyle portrayed on MTV and BET. Examples : 1. wearing clothing brands that rappers wear such as Phat Farm or Ecko 2. talking in black urban slang (much profanity on that part) 3. pretending to be a gangsta' or pimp. In my opinion, I think adolescents "trying to act black" show that there is a loss in cultural pride. When minorities flaunt their culture, it is socially accepted. In schools, there are various African Step Dance classes or Asian Culture clubs, etc...However, if a "white culture club" were to be formed, it would be deemed racist. This, I believe, has led many modern white youth to adopt other cultures - in this case, black. No doubt, it has become "cool" to act black, courtesy of the media and pop culture. The whole wannabe-gangsta' syndrome....sure, don't they look tough with all the guns, drugs, and sex? Desiring to emulate that social image, many adolescents give in to peer pressure and pressure of the media by "acting black."
