Should we keep the space program going? I think we should, because if we just stop, what did those 7 astronauts die for? Nothing. Their deaths will mean nothing if we don't keep pressing on. They would want it that way. What do you think?

The tragedy of columbia makes me so . I always used to be about space exploration but now it makes me about whether it is good or not. Nobody should be about the tragedy because they are in a better place.

Altough I am saddened by the Columbia disaster I believe that the space program should continue. There is an infinite amount to discover in space. It is a vast beyond. It's one of the most enormous and one of the last frontiers we have left. I am extremely curious about what;s out there and I think most people are too. Knowledge is a good thing (sorry for the Martha Stewart slip) and that's practically a truth, so if there's do much knowledge to be gained in space, then why nit continue exploring it? There are risks of course, but all great things involve risks. The people who have the courage to take on these risks become heroes, and they are worthy of that title.

did ship wrecks ever stop early explorers? did the titanic stop people from going on cruises? did a crash ever stop people from driving? no.
the space program needs to go on. we didn't stop after apollo 1, or apollo 13, or the challenger. we can't stop now. there's too much to do. history has never let tragedy stop itself.

Hooray for space %100!!!!
I love both space and the space program. I think it is VITAL that the space program continues to recieve funds and possibly more funds. Space is truley "the final frontier" and just like the pioneers of the old days we need to venture forth into the unknown and discover all that there is to discover. See all there is to see. And learn all there is to be learned. Who knows, mabey we will even find life!!!!!!!
HOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY FOR SPACE!
Wouldnt you like to go on an exotic getaway to "Club Europa"? I thought you would.

The space program needs more money, more technology, and more vision. Right now we're sending almost twice as much (i think) money to fight AIDS in Africa. Surely we can spare more for the future of humanity. The quicker we move into space as a culture, the quicker we will advance and survive as a culture.
Bush needs to continue to fund the Prometheus project. Our next goal should be Mars. Simple, the ISS is a waste of money.
