Yeah, but is it really patriotic to say lies about this country? Unless, there is quote:
Liberty and justice for all
Any way, there isn't. If there was, poorer citizens would be able to get good lawyers too. quote:

Is slavery one of the "truths" in the bible? Because that's what this country was built on. Slaves. We may have eventually freed them, but for a long time, they were not. And equal rights for women? Is that a truth? Women did not have equal rights until fairly recently. |

You got it exactly right. Our country was founded on the principals stated in the pledge and thus we should say them. Its shows your loyalty to your country and people that don't say it shouldn't be in this country

Yes, we should pledge to show our support for our country!!! If you don't want to show your patriotism to the American flag, then leave our country and go find you another one. If you don't believe in God, just say the other words, but our country was built upon the truths of the Bible.
