You know those little things that seem to make you really happy?

Like getting a dictionary to look up a word and opening it to the EXACT right page?

Or running through sprinklers?

Or swinging on a swing?

Just little stuff. Stuff that somehow makes you happy and you don't really know what it is.

Can you guys think of any more stuff that makes life a little more pleasant?

One of life's other natural high or something pleasant is when your parents actually say yes to something you thought they were gonna say no to.

... it's usually seeing birds (any type will usually do) outside, interacting. The rain brings me a lot of bliss as well. I think seeing a bird in the rain would be a little depressing, but you get the picture. e_e;
I think birds just bring a person's imagination to life in many different ways...
I also get extremely excited about seeing the newest issue of TIME arrive in the mail. I don't always read them right away, but it always makes me quite cheery when my subscriptions arrive. Reader's Digest doesn't have the same effect on me. I don't know why.

being on stage gives me a great natural high. everything from the nervousness before the show to the fabulous feeling of the final bow when everyone is claping for you, gives me such a rush of adrenilline that I want to stay on that stage forever. it's the best feeling in the world.

when people do my hair. or do something for me, like a bracelet or sumthing. I dont know why but it makes me woozy. Thats a funny word lol.

Coming back from a long walk, going in the door and finding dinner just ready. That is the best! Also coming back from a really hot sticky uncomfortable walk and getting a perfect lemon ice lolly from the freezer that stays on the stick instead of falling off all over you.

well i read ever single of your guys emails,-[not something i normally do!!] and i decided that the only natural high -[for me] that i don't think anyone said is when you talk to someone you don't know and they reply and don't ignore you and bingo you have a new friend!! There is nothing better than human connetion!!

Being able to express your liking of Lord of the Rings without people automaticly thinking that means you dress up and see the movie on the day it comes out (a plan with my crazy friends which will probably never happen ) or imitating a character (ok, so people think i played the voice for Smeagol but i don't talk like that often because it scares them.)

for me it when i get on the computer to check my e-mail i get a message from like family or friends. or like the little things people say to make u feel better like i like ur shirt or did u do ur make up?? i like it!! or i luv ur hair can u do that for me some time? hangin out with my friends or my cuzin. he is like my best friend. u cant replace him in anyway. riding on my dirt bike is fun and just about anything but drugs. i changed my mind, after thinking about it i guess i do have some natrual highs, including walking through the rain, that actually is pretty fun, i also like starving myself to drive my mom crazy, but thats not to natrual.

to me buzzing in during a quizbowl match and getting the question right is sooo amazing, i mean i do it a lot, but every time i do it, its just better than the last time, and usually after the match, it takes me a few hours to come back to my senses....its like a healthy high....i love it!

I personly love walking in the rain. I don't think there is anything better than that.
