Hmm, here are some natural highs I can think of…

*Skiing. Someone said snowboarding earlier and it's true, snow sports are the BEST for natural highs! It's best on soft fine powder snow, which makes this completely satisfying hissing sound when you turn… 'shh…shh'… It's a little detail but it's the BEST. In fact I would challenge anyone to find a sound quite so satisfying.

*Being somewhere completely, stunningly beautiful.

* Doing something new and exciting.

* Perfect music. I get this perfect moment in music sometimes when I'm dancing to it and I just go completely crazy! That's cool.

* Being told I look nice. I know looks aren't important and all that but one of my best friends told me once that I looked like an angel and it really made my day! (waits while noisemakers finish throwing up) I mean it makes you feel confident in yourself.

* When I'm with someone and I know there's nowhere I'd rather be at that moment. When I feel happy just being around someone.

* Laughing with friends, I mean REALLY laughing properly with stomach hurting and everything.

* Reading an amazing book or watching a great film. Also, when the opening music for my favourite tv series comes on and it's a new series and it feels like I've waited FOREVER for it.

*Feeling like I've achieved something important.

* THE END OF EXAMS!

There are loads more natural highs but that's all I can think of right now!

running barefoot down the street in a Thunderstorm.
Finishing a gel pen Drawing after 3 months.
Dreaming that you get a visit from a lost loved one that is so real you wake up and believe they really did come just to hug you as you slept.
Finding a True friend.
Sitting on the floor laughing for no reason with a buddy
Visiting your old house and seeing it hasn't changed a bit
Being able to watch a kids' movie in the theatre with your friends without a bunch of noisy children making it hard to hear
Holding a baby that smiles at you
Making someone laugh

When your favorite song comes on the radio. When youre singing in the shower and youre pretending youre on American Idol and when you get done you think "Dang. I am so good." (I do that a lot) having a REALLY REALLY GOOD conversation with aan online buddy. Some really really good soap. (I think SHOWERS just count as a natural high). Cute guys. When cute guys look at you. When cute guys come up to you and say "I want a huggie, Lynnie! I lovesie you" and hugs you. (That ones my personal fave)A rose. A new lip gloss that you absolutely love. A cute-as-heck outfit that you got super super cheap. omg I could go on forever but I'm so happy now! Heehee

I hated the movie mary poppins but i must admit.......uncle albert flying and singing the laughing song is the GREATEST THING EVER!!!!

just want to say in regards to my last reply about laughing being a natural high..i would just like 2 add that i get even "higher" when laughing at uncle albert in mary poppins when he sings the "i love 2 laugh" song...thats my theme song

I like the idea of a natural high! It just fits the subject great! A natural high for me is snow boarding. I mean it has nothing to do with luck but it makes me feel free! Everything just falls into place for you are off a jump and flying tho the air even if you fall on your face lol. ( has happened to me ) But of you want to go with luck then i would say something like :turning on the tv and the very beginning of your fav. movie is on.: lol (has happened to me before too ) Things like that. So those who might not of felt a natural high...try snowboarding or if you are more of a inside person...read a book! A good book can make you a kite man!! lol ttyl!

one of life's natural highs is laughing...no matter where i am i gotta laugh at anything i can laugh at someone's shoelaces..or sumthin...but when ever im with my family and/or frieds laughing just seems 2 make us feel totally high ad like we've gone nuts...or even betetr have been nuts..(okay that sounds kinda lame but i dont really care)

that's the one "natural high" i have yet to experience.......( well i've had one before, but it was a while ago.... still haven't been kissed)

making out with your boyfriend, and not having his mom catch you. (i need to work on that one...) being asked to do something really cool. running into your favorite movie on tv. laughing so hard you can barely breathe. getting a new pair of shoes.

Have you ever had a moment when you would just stare off into space and out of the blue you remember how a person made you smile for the simplest of reasons? well...that's not it! just kidding!!

I think one of life's natural highs is when you think that helping someone doesn't mean that much to you. You know, a time when you just happened to be at the right place at the right time and you unintentionally help someone out... then you see them smile and say a small "thank you". You smile back then continue doing what you were doing...then you stop. You recall the gesture of thanks and the way your heart just gave a warm glow as you received a grateful smile...

...then you continue again with what you have been doing...but in the back of your mind, you know that that moment made your day complete.

I love thinking about someone and then all of a sudden that person calls of e-mails or comes over.

Holding hands or kissing someone and knowing that no one else will ever know, that it was just your little secret.

Music, any mucis is a high, Music that lifts your soula dn makes you happy, keeps you from being too depresses, like whn you are in a bad mood but your favorite song comes on the radio, and somehow it makes you feel better.

When some guy is talking to you and he somehow adds in those little inuendos that he'd like to talk to you or see you more.

Being able to lock yourself in the bathroom for like...an hour and taking a bath and listening to music ans escaping from the world.

The first time you go to a lake or Niagara Falls or a river after winter and realizing that winter is really over.

Fireworks,

the drive ins,

Disney movies,

chick flicks,

chocolate,

laughing with your best friend, knowing that you and her only know what your talking about,

when someone you didn't quite expect stands up for you out of the blue

and finally, when someone says to you, never stop smiling, and then you ask why, and they respond, because you never know when someone is falling i love with your smile....

Okay here is the big list i found in the newspaper......

1. A cold fresh Shower after going to the beach and swimming in all the salt water.

2. getting personal snail mail from a close friend

3. a bubble bath

4. hot towels fresh out of the dryer OR sleeping in bedsheets that are fresh out of the dryer ( ahhh.....)

5. finding a 20 dollar bill in your pocket from last winter.

6. midnight phone calls that last for hours

7. laughing at an inside joke

8. accidently hearing someone say something nice about you

9. waking up and realizing you can still sleep for a few more hours.

10. having some one play with your hair ( this one's mostly for girls but guys, take notice. Do this to your girlfriends.)



Just typing them down makes me happy.
