Puerto Rico to Siberia? Whoo, get ready for that one.

If you end up going there, notice that in the winter you'll need more than a light sweat shirt. My ex girlfriend was from LA and that was the extent of her cold weather clothing she brought to college in PA.

You do realize you can study Russian in a region that isn't rife with crime, poverty, and terrorism, right?

iceland just an update on the little enlightenment i can give ya..

india pak are having talks rite now on the kashmir issue which is not likely to get resloved in milleniuems to come..

the british partioned india pakistan very strategically for themselves and ever since history has been unfolding. terrorists as young as 12 and 15 yrs are crossing the border from pakistan an carrying out fidayen or suicide attacks on our country..there is a group in kashmir called huriyat who wants separate state of kashmir..the indina govt is trying its best to bring things back to normalcy eve since but then the terrorists alwys issue fatwas and scare the public..all the kashmiri pundits (the hindu communtiy) there have been driven out and most of them have becmone third class refugees living in our cities haveing no more than one room and waiitng for govt rations of food..overnight the militant massacre ppl everywhere..pakistan claims that kashmir is their land when pak itself was aprt of india...
we've had i think 3 wars which have been nothing but futile te only result being more lives lost and more violence...the last one was kargil..
the pakistanis have an advantage over indians cause they are situated over a greater altitude..they have the advantage of height..
there is this one place called siachen glacier where both sides are figtihng..its costs the army more than 1 lakh indina rs per uniform..so u can imagine..
the ironic thing is that this whole was is totally between politicians and the ppl of both countries just want peace and nothing else..there are many kids who by mistake wander off the line of control on either sides and both the govts try their level best to torture these poor innocent kids..
but nowadys ppl will be surprised to know that many militatns are giving p their arms everday but its still a small no in the ocean of many..all these terrorist organistions are sponsored by rich honchos in britain and other western countries..infact until 9/11 there used to be quaida ad lashkas etc donation boxes in public places everywhere in pak hadnding out the funding fr this evil tpo happen..

whatever is it and whichever country the other would like to blame i just hope that peace will prevail and the valley will be itself..

As I mentioned in my last post, the problem isn't the diplomatic ties with Russia. It's the lack of diplomatic ties with the Russian Mafia. Generally, ultra-violent organized-crime groups aren't into diplomacy.

Uh, Celtic, as hard as it is for me to say this, you're wrong.

Actually, the problem is not so much the Russian government in and of itself, but the Russian Mafia, which has long been know to traffic weapons - including WMDs - to anyone with cash. However, the Russian government is poor and corrupt, and Putin isn't exactly helping.

yes, i do know about warfare. i wouldnt attack anyone for no reason, but heck if someone does so to me, ill gladly shoot their *****.

Which is exactly why nobody has used them against us as of yet. Any country, including the insane ones, will in all likelyhood not make a first strike. This would mean total obliteration of thier country.

Bush may not be a wacko, but a brain is crucial.

Blah blah blah blah....

and there are no insane dictators right now, except for saddam (who seems to be done nothing to) and fidel castro (whos also too broke to do anything).

And what would we call the Dear Leader other than insane dictator?

and no one has given me a link yet...

This *might* help. It's not exactly a list, but it's a lot of info on every country you could think of.

Obviously you're not going to get a "correct" veiw of the most dangerous contries in the world, as that's a reletive definition.

Let's think for a minute: Russia's economy is the pits right now. The country has nuclear weapons left over from the days of the U.S.S.R. (insert Beatles track 1 from White Album). Many countries are looking to purchase nuclear weapons on the sly. Many of these countries are not altogether friendly to the U.S. But they can pay a good price.

Now, I'm not saying that the Russian gov't is out to get us, or even that this is happening. But it's possible, and worth thinking about.

We need stronger diplomatic ties to Russia!
