stupidity, not having to prove anything to any one is a great philosophy. you should be happy with who you are, and not think you have to prove yourself! how could someone live like that?

Religion is something left over from the infancy of our intelligence, it will fade away as we adopt reason and science as our guidelines.

quote: I read a book about how God wanted to give you all these things, but you never asked for them. It's philosophy was that you needed to ask god for opportunities to enrich yourself and the people around you. It's called The Prayer of Jabez: Breaking Through to the Blessed Life by Bruce Wilkinson. I'm not religious, but I still think it was an interesting concept. I think it's good to look around.
You see, that's a weak philosophy. I don't ask anyone else for my own opportunities; either they present themselves to me or I make or find them. That's being assertive in life. Constantly asking a higher being for opportunity is just living life in a passive manner-- believing that everything good comes from god and that you alone are incapable of leading a successful, fulfilling, meaningful life.

Judaism is "basically" the same as christianity. The old testament is their holy book. They're are both montheistic too. The only main difference is that christians believe Jesus is the messiah and jews believe the messiah is coming. It's fine to explore other religions. if you want some pretty cool religions check out some that are considered paganism. Alot of people in my school are pagans now.

"""I don't need to prove anything to anyone.""" ___Do my ears deceive me... or is it actually echoing idiocy in here?

If you don't look around, how can you be so sure that your religion is the one you believe in not just because your parents raised you that way? Honestly, I only know one person that has spent thousands of hours studying other religions just to prove to himself that Christianity was the best one (He came to that conclusion). BTW, I don't think "Jewish" is a religion o_O
