I find it strange that someone would claim that religion kills people, and should therefore, be abolished.

In the same way, political parties kill people. Should they be abolished as well? Monetary success is responsible for countless murders, should money be abolished?

The fact that someone would single out religion as harmful, and neglect to mention these other facts, is because they are bigots.

Anything that separates two peoples point of view, or slows someone's rise of social status, will always have the possibility to incite violence.
