something like a .22 Calibur is not to loud, like a fire cracker.

Anything quiter would have a silencer, silencers are not legal.

Having a loud gun is not bad, think of this, you really don't want to shoot anyone...so what if they keep coming? You can shoot one in the air, one it may scare them off...if it doesn't, the police will be there pretty quick. You just have to make sure and obey the Police, to many of them have itchy trigger fingers these days.

A biker tried to fight my friend once, he sprayed him with Police Grade Mace(tear gas) and it stunned the guy for a few, he couldn't see very well...but was still lashing at us.....
