I would try to find a talent that I could do to entertain people. Possibly find an instrument. If I were to become instantly like *poof* homeless right now I would end up playing a piano in a restaurant since I have been playing for close to 10 years. One of the coolest things I have seen was in Seattle by Pike's Market, and this guy wasn't dressed up fancy or anything, but he had an old beatup, upright piano on the corner of one of the sidewalks with two doorstops keeping the piano from rolling down (it was on a really steep street), and he was just playing music! Like jazz and it sounded so pretty echoing around the streets. I wish I could do that here, but if I did someone would like call the police and see if I was mentally disturbed...kind of sad.
The saddest thing I have ever seen (besides maybe a clip of a cow with Mad Cow disease) was a couple days ago in San Francisco. We were at a street crossing and this lady was dressed in rags and sitting on an empty milk crate couting nickels and pennies out of a styrophome cup with a smile on her face. I felt like crying.
